Named Endowment Funds

Building Better Men forever with a fund in your name, your family’s name, or in honor of a DU Brother.

ESTABLISHING A NAMED ENDOWMENT FUND

Establishing a Named Endowment Fund with the Delta Upsilon Educational Foundation is a great way to leave a legacy for DU undergraduates for generations to come. Named funds can be established to provide scholarships to educational programs, tuition scholarships or other educational purposes funded by the DUEF – including purposes that directly benefit your local chapter.

Donors who establish a named endowment fund receive an annual stewardship packet that includes a summary of the fund’s balance, list of contributions/distributions, and thank you letters from any benefitting DU undergraduates that year.

The DUEF requires a minimum pledge of $25,000 to establish a named endowment fund, and the Board of Trustees has established a 4% annual spending policy (12-quarter average using the fund balances from the prior three fiscal years).

If you are interested in establishing a named endowment fund, please contact Associate Executive Director Ryan King at king@deltau.org or (317) 875-8900.

“We are proud to establish an educational program scholarship that supports the opportunity for young men to attend the Leadership Institute and other outstanding programs. We strongly believe leaving this legacy will have a positive impact on the young DUs attending the leadership training and will reinforce our motto of "Building Better Men". It is our hope that this fund will provide future generations of young men with tools for successful leadership roles at their chapter and for the betterment of our world.”
